????Council is seeking your cooperation in microchipping all dogs to comply with new legislative changes???? (Section 42a (2) of the Dog & Cat Management Act 1995). ????These changes now require all dog owners to microchip their dogs by 1st July…whether your dog is young, old, male, female, working or otherwise it is compulsory that they are microchipped.????
????What you need to do? 1. If your dog is already microchipped please make sure your have updated your records in DACO – www.dogsandcatsonline.com.au 2. If your dog hasn’t been microchipped, you can either contact a local vet or alternatively you can use Chip Blitz who offer a discounted rate for microchipping – www.chipblitz.com
????A reminder to all dog owners to please check your contact information and address on DACO before registration renewals come around.????
