The Celebrate Ageing Expo will provide people of all ages with the chance to enjoy a range of healthy activities across two days next week.
Held at the Old Aerodrome Sporting Complex Pavilion, the free Expo will feature a range of demonstrations, including Tai Chi, ballroom dancing and cooking for one.
There will also be information services available including financial counselling and legal advice.
Portfolio Councillor for Community Wellbeing and Services Min Poole said the Expo would be a good chance for the public to experience activities they were interested in but had been hesitant to try.
“The Celebrate Ageing Expo is a fun and engaging way to get out and try new and different things,” Cr Poole said.
“It also gives everyone the chance to learn more about adopting a healthier lifestyle and how they can implement practical and long lasting changes.”
The Celebrate Ageing Expo will be held on Tuesday 14 May from 10am to 5pm and Wednesday 15 May from 10am to 3pm. Bookings are not required.
