Hazard Reduction Burn – Hampstead Street Gelorup Reserve

The Gelorup Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade will be conducting a Hazard Reduction Burn on Tuesday 14 and Wed 15 May 2019. Burning will be on reserve 35462 Hampstead Street Gelorup.

The purpose of the burn is to mitigate the risk of fire and reduce the level of annual grass and other flammable material.

We recommended you close doors/windows, and turn off air-conditioners if smoke is particularly thick.

Motorists are urged to take care on roads as smoke may reduce visibility. Please turn on headlights and travel at an appropriate speed when in this area.

Please take precaution, if you have asthma or pre-existing respiratory or cardiovascular conditions and follow your pre-prepared treatment plan.
