The plan which is annually prepared as part of the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework requirements is reflective of the 10-year Community Strategic Plan and the four-year Delivery Program that Council already has in place.
The high priority areas identified in the plan include roads and bridges; transport and parking; footpaths and cycleways; waste and water services; sports and recreation; parks and playgrounds which all align with the Community Strategic Plan.
Following the completion of the exhibition period, a further report will be presented to Council outlining submissions and recommendations received and required for response. This will provide the Council with the opportunity to consider community feedback before the adoption of the final AOP.
Council will be available for community members to find out more information or share their feedback for the draft AOP at the following locations:
Barraba: Wednesday 15 May from 9am
Manilla: Friday 17 May from 9am
Nundle: Tuesday 21 May from 8am to 11am
Kootingal: Thursday 23 May from 8am to 11am

Tamworth (Centrepoint Shopping Centre): Thursday 30 May 2019 from 8:30am to 10:30am Please note that pop-ups in the regional communities will be located near the local Council branches.
The 28 day public exhibition period will close on Thursday 30 May 2019. Council will then review the feedback and prepare the final plan which will confirm the priority areas for the coming financial year.
