Council is working with the community to develop a compelling and consistent brand for Campbelltown to help position the city as a destination of choice to live, work and do business.
Council is leading a city-wide brand initiative to enhance the image and represent the unique identity of Campbelltown.
Council is committed to implementing projects to attract economic and cultural investment that will contribute to Campbelltown being a destination of choice to live, work and do business - and to attract more local jobs for people in the area. One of these initiatives is the City Identity and Branding project.
Changing the current negative perception of the city was identified as a priority by the local community and businesses in our Community Strategic Plan. Council is now working with independent branding agency, Principals, to develop a new city identity and brand strategy in order to build a consistent and compelling identity for Campbelltown.
Current perceptions are fragmented and inconsistent, which can put Campbelltown at a disadvantage when competing with other major cities to attract jobs and investment. This strategy will assist with increasing confidence and provide a powerful incentive for investment in Campbelltown, as well as build pride locally across our community.
Community surveyCouncil is committed to creating an identity and brand for the city that reflects, and is embraced by, our community. To ensure this, during the past few months we have been engaging with the community via workshops, surveys, drop-in sessions and vox pop interviews to help understand the unique story of Campbelltown and learn the experiences from a local perspective. So far, more than 800 people have been involved in the project.
This survey, which will only take a few short minutes to complete, is another opportunity for you as a member of the Campbelltown community to provide us with your thoughts and insights. We invite you to participate.
