Blacktown City Council will host the 22nd ‘Reconciliation Walk and Gathering’ Concert at Dawson mall as part of this year’s Blacktown City Festival.

“I invite people from diverse backgrounds in our community to join in on this event to honour our Indigenous community,” Mayor Bali said.

The event will take place at Dawson Mall in Mount Druitt on Saturday 18 May, from 10.30 am.

Featured are activities for the whole family, including stage entertainment, stalls, dreamtime stories, cultural workshops, art displays, sausage sizzle and the Mount Druitt’s Got Talent competition.

“The Reconciliation Walk and Gathering is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the meaning of reconciliation and to help build mutual and respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples,” Mayor Bali said.
