Telstra has advised that a complex hardware fault is affecting around 160 customers in Rolleston.

Queensland North Regional General Manager for Telstra Rachel Cliffe said technicians are continuing work to repair the fault, but the fix is proving harder than first thought.

‘To get Rolleston customers back online, we’re setting up a mobile cell on wheels,’ she said.

‘This will come into effect today (Thursday 16 May) and will restore existing mobile voice and data services.’

She also advised that customers connected to NBN Skymuster will be able to use their mobile phone via Telstra Wi-Fi calling.
