The Central Highlands Regional Council is inviting residents to have their say on the long-term development of the southern section of Emerald’s Morton Park.
‘We need your creativity and ideas to help shape a master plan for this important piece in our region’s park network,’ Mayor Cr Kerry Hayes said.
‘The project will aim to make the area around our iconic sunflower painting more useful and attractive for the local community, as well as visitors to the Central Highlands.’
To get involved residents can complete an online survey here by 5.00 pm Friday 7 June or attend a drop-in session.
The sessions will be held at the Emerald Visitor Information Centre from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm on Monday 27 May 2019 and 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm on Tuesday 28 May 2019.
It is expected a draft master plan will be presented to council for consideration in July 2019.
