MasterChef 2017 contestant Bryan ZhuCulinary Carnival has received a sprinkling of star power with 2017 MasterChef contestant Bryan Zhu confirmed to make an appearance for a special not-to-be-missed cooking demonstration.
Mr Zhu was a favourite with MasterChef fans and the judges, wowing particularly with his skill in creating inventive dumplings and desserts. He is presented by Fairfield Forum.
He will join a long list of entertainment from right around the world as the popular Carnival evolves into a true celebration of Fairfield City’s amazing and colourful diversity.
While visitors enjoy the wide selection of international cuisines, snacks and desserts on offer, they can sit back and take in the dance performances, including flamenco, Bolivian, hula and hip hop, or pick up some moves of their own at one of the workshops.
For those looking to improve their skills around the kitchen, there will be cooking demonstrations. Children can also hone their culinary skills with Get Kids Cooking quesadilla and bruschetta workshops presented by St Johns Park Bowling Club.
Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone said there will be something for everyone at Culinary Carnival.
“Culinary Carnival is a family event like no other in Fairfield City. It is a true celebration of the flavours, sights and sounds that make our wonderfully diverse City a great place to live and visit,” Mayor Carbone said.
“I’m especially excited that Bryan Zhu from MasterChef will be joining us on the day and I look forward to seeing what delicious dishes he will whip up for us.
“I encourage everyone to grab your family, friends and neighbours and come down and experience a world of flavours all in the one place.”
Culinary Carnival will be held at Spencer Street, Fairfield City Centre, on Saturday, 1 June from 11am-4pm.
