National Volunteer Week Morning Tea

National Volunteer Week will be celebrated from Monday 20 to Sunday 26 May, acknowledging the generous contributions of volunteers across the country.

To thank the incredible volunteers in our region, Gympie Regional Council, the Gympie Region Volunteer Centre and Tony Perrett MP are hosting the Annual Celebration of Volunteering event on Thursday 23 May, 10.00am to 12.00pm, at The Gympie Civic Centre, Mellor Street Gympie.

Gympie Regional Council Mayor Mick Curran says the event is an opportunity to recognise the dedication and hard work of countless volunteers who contribute to making our region the number one choice to live, work and play. “On behalf of Gympie Regional Council, I would like to thank all of our volunteers for their hard work and contributions. It is easy to see, that through their efforts, our community spirit is alive and well in our region,” he said.
