The popular Festival is over for another year, with 40 activities and events held throughout May, transforming Armadale into a creative mecca with offers of music, literature and art.
Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the Armadale Arts Festival is always a wonderful addition to the City's event calendar, bringing artists, art enthusiasts and our community together for a creative program like no other.
“It really is a Festival hosted by the community for the community, with so many fantastic activities on offer, including those that value add to our City, such as the inaugural Armadale Arts Bush Trail in Bedfordale, which has been hugely popular” Mayor Zelones said.
Highlights of the Festival have included the pop up Pub Choir at Ye Olde Narrogin Inne in Armadale, another captivating edition of the Minnawarra Art Awards, and Positive Ageing High Teas attended by many young at heart members of the community.
