Take advantage of BizHub Maroondah’s free and low-cost workshops being offered in May and June, and throughout the year, led by experts and industry professionals, while also allowing you to network with other business owners.

Practical workshops are available on a whole host of topics, from boosting business through social media advertising, email marketing and taking your business online, to cyber security, managing stress and strategies to accelerate business growth.

This workshop helps people to build an understanding of stress and the impact it has on wellbeing. Participants will walk away feeling more confident in identifying early signs of stress and having the strategies and support to beat the Stress Monster.

This workshop is being run by Steps to Wellbeing, which provides a range of services to improve wellbeing, including coaching, personal development groups, access to digital resources and online support.

Small Business Clinics

The Small Business Clinics are free (fully subsidised by Maroondah City Council), confidential, one-on-one 45-minute mentoring sessions which are available to businesses who would like to talk to an experienced business person.

Mentors from Small Business Mentoring Service will assess your current situation, provide advice about key issues and give you a brief plan to help move your business forward. Mentors have backgrounds in marketing, sales, finance, manufacturing, retailing and franchising.

All businesses in Maroondah are able to register but bookings through the Small Business Mentoring Service are essential as places are limited. There are five one-on-one sessions available each month until December.
