Season Closure

The Ballina Memorial Swimming Pool will be closed from 1 June to 30 June 2019 and re-open from 1 July 2019. Alstonville Aquatic Centre will remain open during this time. 

Waterslide

Please note the Waterslide is privately owned and operated. The entry fee to the pool does not include entry to the Waterslide.

Facilities

Ballina Swimming Pool & Water Slide is located in the Ballina CBD next to the Richmond River. The up-to-date aquatic facility now includes:

FINA compliant 50m heated pool with eight 2.5m wide lanes for competition swimming and water polo 25m x 15m heated enclosable pool, can be used for swimming lessons, children's play, lap swimming and rehabilitation access ramps into all pools wet play splash area for children new amenities building  transparent fencing along the Richmond River enhanced landscaping. Reciprocal arrangements for pass holders are available. This means that pass holders can access both the Alstonville and Ballina pool facilities, regardless of which pool the pass was purchased. The reciprocal arrangements include all passes: adults, children, families, concession annual, three month and ten-ticket passes, as well as season passes.
