Hazard reduction burn – Sheoak Park Gelorup

The Gelorup Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade will be conducting a Hazard Reduction Burn (subject to weather) at Sheoak Park on Sat 25 May 2019. The burn is expected to commence at about 1 pm. Smoke expected to disperse in an easterly direction across the 5 Mile Brook. We recommend you shut doors and windows, and turn off aircon if smoke is thick. Please use precaution if driving in the area as smoke may reduce visibility. Turn on headlights at travel at an appropriate speed. If you have a health condition such as asthma, follow your pre-pared treatment plan.
