Solar bulk buy last chance

The successful East Gippsland Shire Solar Bulk Buy will be finishing on 30 June 2019, after seeing over 62 solar systems installed locally.

A total of 318kW of solar has been installed on 62 homes, and local businesses have purchased an additional 15kW, in East Gippsland so far. This would cover the surface of the 50-metre Bairnsdale outdoor swimming pool almost twice.

The Victorian Government’s Solar Homes subsidy had added to the success of the East Gippsland Shire Solar Bulk Buy, seeing over 1,170 solar panels sold so far.

Solar energy has been recognised as an important way of reducing the impact of electricity prices while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
