Blackall Combined Agents yarded a total of 4000 head at the monthly weaner and fat sale. Cattle were drawn from as far west as Alice Springs, Cloncurry, Boulia, Winton, Longreach, Aramac, Muttaburra, Barcaldine and Blackall. With a full panel of buyers in attendance and local restockers active, prices defied market trends this week, with prices remaining firm to dearer across all descriptions.
