In Tune is a new Saturday afternoon live music event starting in August this year.

If you love acoustic music, grab your guitar and your best singing voice because we are looking for local and upcoming musicians to showcase their talents at a new Saturday afternoon live music program at Campbelltown’s HJ Daley Library.

In Tune @ the Library will be held in the courtyard between 1pm and 2pm on Saturdays, with the first session to be launched in August this year.

Performances must be acoustic only and can be of any musical genre.

“In Tune is an opportunity to provide the talented young musicians we have in our community with a performance space to go to and share their acoustic music with a wider audience,’’ said Mayor George Brticevic.

“Libraries are not only places where people come to study and research, they are also social places where people can read, relax and spend their spare time socialising and connecting with people in our community,’’ Cr Brticevic said.

Music students are also welcome to take part so they can gain experience performing in front of a live audience.

In Tune is not a competition and performers are not paid to be involved, however they will be able to busk while they perform.

Interested local musicians are invited to apply to be part of the program by completing the application form.

Please include a link to a video performance on YouTube or Vimeo if possible.

More information is available at Council’s website or by phoning the library staff on 4645 4444.
