To celebrate the importance of the Quilpie Boreheads and the sense that the town of Quilpie is a green oasis, a water feature is being made for Brolga Street. Residents are invited to visit the Art Project workshop site anytime it open. It will feature a salvaged borehead discharging into a round cattle trough decorated with a mosaic base. Adult residents are most welcome to get involved with the application of the Trough Mosaic.

There will also be a Mosaic Paver Workshop in Quilpie for the Borehead Water Feature. It is open to community members 8 years at the Pop up Art project site next to the Quilpie Shire Hall. There are only 12 places available between the 17 June – 7 July. To arrange a time please contact the artist Pamela Denise on 0427 728 450.
