Residents in upper parts of Long Beach, Surfside and North Batemans Bay may notice changes to their normal water supply on Wednesday night as part of works associated with the new Batemans Bay Bridge.

Eurobodalla Council will assist John Holland and its sub-contractor to connect a new water main supplying town water to North Batemans Bay, Surfside, Long Beach and Maloneys Beach that was relocated as part of the bridge project.

From 8pm Wednesday 12 June to 4am Thursday 13 June, residents in elevated areas of North Batemans Bay, Surfside and Long Beach may notice lower water pressure than normal as the water supply is switched to the Long Beach reservoir.

Homes in low-lying areas, including Maloneys Beach, are less likely to be affected.

The Batemans Bay Bridge is being constructed by John Holland on behalf of the NSW Government’s Roads and Maritime Services. For more information about the project visit www.rms.nsw.gov.au/batemansbaybridge
