Statement on CEO termination

The City of Burnside confirms that it notified Mr Paul Deb Thursday afternoon 6 June 2019 that his employment had been terminated.

The Council’s General Manager Urban & Community, Mr Barry Cant, has been appointed the Council’s Acting Chief Executive Officer.

It would be inappropriate to provide further comment on the matter.

Council is focusing on its core business of supporting its rate payers.

The Council does not intend at this stage to make further comment on Mr Deb's departure.
