It may be cold outside but there is a large choice of activities organised by East Gippsland Shire Council for seniors to get social this month.
Mayor Cr Natalie O’Connell said the shire library activities and community programs empower older residents by staying informed, having an opportunity to get out and about and getting socially connected.
“It’s a great way to make new friends, have some fun, enjoy life-long learning and get some new skills like becoming tech savvy to stay connected with family and friends using Skype, Facebook, WhatsApp and Messenger,” Cr O’Connell said.
