Bruce Highway – Bitumen repair works

Burdekin Shire Council advises that bitumen repair works are to be undertaken on the section of the Bruce Highway north and south of the Giddy/Gillian (McDesme) Road intersection. Works are scheduled to commence and conclude on Tuesday 11th June, 2019, weather permitting.

The Bruce Highway will be under a single lane closure with Traffic Lights and Traffic Control will be operating at both the Giddy Road and Gillian (McDesme) Road intersections during the course of the works.

Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum for road users during the maintenance period. Burdekin Shire Council thanks residents and road users for their patience during these works.
