(10/6/2019) City congratulates Fremantle Business Award winners

The City of Fremantle has congratulated all of the winners in the 2019 Fremantle Business Awards hosted by the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce on Friday night.

The WA Maritime Museum took out the coveted Business of the Year title for its innovation and outstanding contribution as a growing attraction for Fremantle. Over the past 12 months the Museum has grown its family audience by 148 per cent.

The City of Fremantle sponsored two leadership awards at the event.

The Mayor’s Award for Sustainable Enterprise was won by The Raw Kitchen Zero Store, while the City’s Destination Marketing Award was won by Fremantle Ports for its Quay to Summer campaign.

The Raw Kitchen Zero Store, which is Australia’s largest zero waste and plastic free store, also won the Business Foundations Growth Scholarship Award.

The City of Fremantle was also a winner on the night, taking home the Outstanding Event Award for the 2019 Street Arts Festival.
