The Ararat Town Hall will hit the road later this month, taking the show BRUCE to the Moyston Community Hall.

Ararat Rural City Council CEO Dr Tim Harrison said that each year, the Town Hall program endeavoured to include several shows in other towns in the municipality to share the magic of live performance with regional residents.

Dr Harrison said this was the second time this year the Town Hall had travelled, after a children’s show performed at the Pomonal Community Hall in the Easter school holidays.

This time, the Moyston community would reap the benefits with BRUCE, an epic adventure of love and revenge, playing on Wednesday 26 June from 7.30pm. The Moyston Community Hall Committee would provide supper after the show.

Exceptionally skilled puppeteers bring BRUCE to life as we witness the incredible comedic story of his life as a self-proclaimed hero-cop turned novelist-astronaut. He may be just a floating block of yellow foam, but BRUCE is out to prove he’s got a heart of pure gold.

BRUCE is a loveable screw-up – he's got one last shot at redemption but, with a lifetime of regrets hunting him down, he's running out of space-time. Performed by Daniel Buckle and Nick Pages-Oliver, this side-splitting story is unapologetic in its minimal approach.

BRUCE is a non-stop roller-coaster of action, adventure and nostalgia.

Tickets are $29 adult ($19 concession) and are available on the Ararat Town Hall website at www.ararattownhall.com.au or by phoning the Box Office 5355 0900.

Please note, while this show includes puppets, it is aimed at adults as it contains mature content.
