Pyjama Girl case comes to MAMA

A series of paintings by artist Elizabeth Rankin features details of the case that transfixed the nation, following the discovery of the pyjama-clad body of Linda Agostini near Splitters Creek in 1934.

Rankin, who has an interest in the portrayal of crime in the media, first learned of the Pyjama Girl murder when police exhibited evidence of the case at Sydney’s Royal Easter show in the 1950s.

Elizabeth Rankin's Pyjama Girl was selected as one of six exhibitions that came through MAMA’s 2018 Open Call process.
