McDowell Road – Road Reconstruction

Burdekin Shire Council advises that road re-construction works will be undertaken on McDowell Road from Watt Road to Woods Road. The works are scheduled to commence on Wednesday 19 June 2019 and are expected to be completed by late August 2019, weather and construction conditions permitting.

McDowell Road will be closed to all traffic with a detour in place via Watt Road, Ford Road and Woods Road.

Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum for road users during the construction period. Burdekin Shire Council thanks residents and road users for their patience during these works.
