Deviot Landslip Project Draft Report

West Tamar Council and the Steering Committee has over the past 18 months been working with the Tasmanian Government to create a greater awareness of living with landslip. The draft report from Dr Derek Pennington from Pennington Geotechnics Pty Ltd, is now available on the Deviot Landslip Project page of our website. A printed version is also able to be viewed at both our Riverside and Beaconsfield Offices.

Any comments on the report can be forwarded through to our Municipal Planner at [email protected] by the 8th July 2019. The process undertaken in writing the draft report has already promoted a greater understanding of what landslip means in the context of Deviot and this understanding in turn will have broader applicability throughout the State. 

Once the opportunity to comment has closed, they will be summarised and incorporated into the report as appropriate, for the Steering Group’s consideration prior to the report being submitted to Council.
