Today we had the official handover of our new Braking the Cycle car from the Cooktown Bowls Club... YAY!!!
The Bowls Club generously donated a 2017 Kia Cerato to PCYC Cooktown and is now a major partner and supporter of the state-wide volunteer mentor and learner driver program, Braking the Cycle, now available at 42 PCYC Clubs across Queensland.
Local QPS Officers were in attendance, along with Cook Shire Council representatives of the PCYC Steering Committee, and also Cooktown Bowls Club committee members.
Huge thanks to the Bowls Club for their amazing donation to PCYC Cooktown and support of young locals who will be enrolled in this valuable program.
