Community meetings to develop Village Emergency Evacuation Response

Kyogle Council is facilitating a series of community meetings to establish village groups to manage setup of temporary emergency evacuation centres.

The first round of meetings started in Tabulam with meetings held since in Woodenbong and Wiangaree.

The initial meetings for Bonalbo and Mallanganee will be held in the coming weeks – Bonalbo Memorial Hall – Tuesday, 25 June 2019 – Mallangangee Memorial Hall – Wednesday, 26 June 2019 Doors opening at 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start with light refreshments provided. ****RSVP attendance to Jacquie Horder via email [email protected] or telephone 02 6632 0221 by 2pm, Monday, 24 June 2019

This project depends on community involvement and Council would like the input of as many people and organisations as possible.

The second meeting round will commence at Tabulam on 27 June, 2019 with dates still to be confirmed for the other villages.
