From our leafy parks and gardens to our colourful street art, there's plenty of beauty to be found in our City. This year's Boroondara Photograph Competition theme was Beauty in Boroondara and it was a perfect opportunity to celebrate our eye-catching past and present.
Judges Charlotte Christie and Rachel Keir-Smith, curators from our Arts and Culture department, were highly impressed with the quality of this year’s entries, as well as the level of creativity and attention to detail.
The photographs entered demonstrated wonderful examples of beauty in Boroondara captured at a moment in time. They will form a remarkable record to look back on in the decades to come as they are added to our extensive collection of local history photographs.
The winners were announced during Slide Night Boroondara last month.
