Queen Street, Ayr – Pedestrian Crossing Line Marking

Burdekin Shire Council wishes to advise that line marking works will be undertaken in Queen Street, Ayr on the pedestrian crossing in the vicinity of Snap Fitness and Hello World. The works are scheduled to commence on Sunday 23 June 2019 around 6:00am with a proposed completion time before 3:00pm, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the works with a single lane closure implemented on the lane under construction. This will alternate to the opposite lane when required.

Access to the CBD area will be accessible via a detour along Graham Street, Ayr throughout the duration of each lane closure.

Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum for road users during these works. Burdekin Shire Council thanks business owners and road users for their patience during these works.
