ArtGeo Cultural Complex is looking for bright, happy people to join their team of volunteer customer service hosts and tour guides.
Operated by the City of Busselton, ArtGeo is a creative hub for the visual and performing arts housed in heritage-listed buildings on Queen Street.
Lesley Perry is one of ArtGeo’s volunteers who greets people with a smile.
As well as giving back to the community, Lesley loves meeting people from around the world and hearing their stories.
“I enjoy welcoming visitors to Busselton, helping them with their questions and telling them the history of our City,” Lesley said.
Jennifer Wright said volunteering is a great way to make new friends and become a part of the community. “I’m from the Philippines and volunteered at ArtGeo to meet people from Busselton,” Jennifer said.
Rod Brennan volunteers because he loves art and history. “I love volunteering in such a beautiful space surrounded by art,” Rod said.
ArtGeo Complex Coordinator Dr Diana McGirr said volunteers welcome and share information with visitors at both the Gallery and Courthouse. “If you have as little as three hours to spare once a month and an interest in art or history, we’d love to hear from you,” Diana said.
