Due to popular demand, Snowy Monaro Regional Libraries will once again be holding their Digital Seniors sessions early in July, at both Bombala and Cooma Libraries.
These sessions are made possible due to the helpful and knowledgeable students from Bombala High School and Monaro High School. These students take participants through everything from emailing, social media platforms, downloading, setting up and using different apps on their smartphones, such as Skype.
You can either bring along your own device or use one of the computers available at the library to receive this free instruction and advice. Please contact your local library for more information and bookings are essential.
The NSW Department of Industry has issued a ‘rising river alert’ for the Snowy River between Jindabyne Dam and Dalgety for Friday 28 June 2019.

Have you completed your community organisations Bock Rock Community Enhancement Fund application?
The Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund Committee was established following development approval being granted through the NSW Government's Department of Planning.
Expenditure by the Committee is specifically restricted to the former Cooma-Monaro and Bombala Local Government Areas as a condition of the development approval.
This is an exciting opportunity for community groups in these areas to apply for funding.
Application packs and funding guidelines are available on Council’s website or at any Council office.
Council staff held their first Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund information session in Bombala last night to assist potential applicants. The next session will be held in the Cooma Council Chambers on Thursday 27 June from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
Applications close 5pm Friday 26 July. Don’t miss out.
John Rooney Mayor of Snowy Monaro Regional Council
