Councillor Anne Salt resigns from Council

Council would like to advise that Councillor Anne Salt has submitted a letter of resignation effective immediately.　

Mayor Ben Shaw has thanked Mrs Salt for her contribution and work for the community since she was elected.

General Manager Greg Winton has written to the Electoral Commission to advise all unsuccessful 2018 Derwent Valley Council candidates of the vacant council seat.

A recount and redistribution of votes for Mrs Salt will determine who will fill the vacant position.
