27 June 2019 - Media release
An amount of $100,600 has been approved in round one of council’s 2019/2020 Community Grants Program, supporting 44 community groups to deliver a range of projects and events for the benefit of residents across the shire, bringing projects to the value of approximately $559,000 to reality.
Campaspe Shire Mayor Cr Adrian Weston said the grants program supports services, programs and events delivered by community groups, clubs and associations.
“The financial support provided through council’s grants program helps the shire’s not-for-profit sector to deliver initiatives and make Campaspe an even more vibrant and stimulating place to be,” Cr Weston said.
“Whether it’s a project to improve the environment, an event that brings people together in celebration or the purchase of equipment to support club operations, the grants help make it possible for our much-valued volunteers to deliver their initiatives for the benefit of all,” he said.
