The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is seeking to improve the way it interacts with small businesses operating in its community, and reiterate that the Shire is an attractive location in which to establish and grow a small business. Having recently signed the Small Business Friendly Local Government Charter, the Shire of Augusta Margaret River is looking to implement its commitment to being small business friendly. The Small Business Friendly Local Government initiative was developed by the Small Business Development Corporation, which is the only State Government agency focused on supporting small business in Western Australia. The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is now proudly displaying the Small Business Friendly Local Governments logo on its business web page, and has committed to engaging with and supporting the local business community.
