Greg was born and raised on the north side of Brisbane. After completing his Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Queensland, Greg travelled overseas to work as a tennis coach. In 1992, after having worked in Germany for thirteen years, he returned to Brisbane. He then started HART Sport. The business began selling sporting equipment by catalogue to schools in Queensland, and it wasn’t long before the company expanded to the rest of Australia. To help plan further growth, Greg completed an MBA at the Queensland University of Technology. With demand growing, he decided to develop his own brand of equipment – HART.
