Ararat Rural City Council and the Ararat Regional Business Association have now joined forces to focus on the future of Ararat Rural City’s business community.
ARBA had previously been in caretaker mode whilst they assess the role they play and look at how we can work together to strengthen the business community moving forward.
Council understand the importance of an organisation that better assists businesses to not only work together but have a more strategic vision for the future. Over the past few months discussions have taken place between Dr Tim Harrison, CEO Ararat Rural City Council and Robert Bell, President and Graeme Foster of ARBA regarding future viability and strengthening the business relationships.
Council have now committed a full time Economic Development Officer to work with and assist the Business Community in providing:
Leadership Membership growth, retention, participation Improving relationships within the business community Providing resources to assist with workshops, direction and guidance in focusing on growth and sustainability. Continued marketing and promotion We want our Business Community to not only grow but succeed. We all have a shared passion and collaboration is key for any organisation to succeed.We would like to extend an invitation to you to attend a special meeting being held on Wednesday, 10 July 2019 at Chalambar Golf Club, commencing at 6pm. This will be a great opportunity as a business operator to provide your input and feedback on how we can move forward together. We look forward to seeing you there.
