Come one, come all to plant and weed, meet and eat at the 11th annual community planting day in the Queenscliff Narrows on National Tree Day: Sunday 28 July 2019.

From 10am to 12.30pm, enjoy getting your hands dirty as you weed out invasive pests and plant local indigenous species to help revegetate part of our precious Coastal Moonah Woodland, which provides vital habitat for native wildlife.

Then join us for a free BBQ lunch (full range of dietary requirements catered for) where you can meet up with others, share stories and learn more about our region’s native flora and fauna.

The day is jointly supported by the Borough of Queenscliffe, Bellarine Catchment Network, Queenscliff Community Nursery and Swan Bay Environment Association.

For more information, please contact the Borough (p. 5258 1377) or Lachlan Forbes from the Bellarine Catchment Network (e. [email protected]).
