Get ready Dirranbandi, Bollon and St George for a Story Time with a musical twist!
Balonne Shire Council, in conjunction with South West Queensland Regional Arts, First Five Forever and Empire Theatre, is bringing Eve Sutton’s My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes to the libraries next week for 40 minutes of fun storytelling, singing, dancing and interaction.
Live musicians will bring the book to life and teach you a few rhymes and songs along the journey.
The show, which features professional artists from the Toowoomba region, is accessible to all and includes Auslan interpretation throughout.
Although the show is focussed on children 0-5 year of age it is also enjoyable for older children and those who are five years old at heart!
