An Introductory Food Handling Training Course for local food handlers and food business proprietors.

Under the Food Safety Standards, a food business must ensure people handling food, or supervising food operations, have the appropriate skills and knowledge in food safety and hygiene.

The Food Handler Training Course, which includes training manuals and demonstrations, will cover:

Legislation;Food safety supervising;Food poisoning;Cleaning and sanitising;Personal hygiene;Temperature control; andPest control.
