It’s that time of year again to pop on your beanie and slip on some mittens and make your way to the ever-popular Winter Trees on Mary celebration from 5:00pm – 9:00pm on Wednesday, 17 July 2019.

As well as the visual delight of the Mary Street trees that will have been decorated by local schools, community groups and businesses, the event will also include a wide range of kids’ activities, including horse and cart rides and a jumping castle, as well as live entertainment on Centre Stage, buskers and roving performers.

Restaurants, cafes and shops in the town centre will also remain open into the evening. Road closures will be in place from the corner of Monkland and Mary Streets to the Five-ways Roundabout from 4.00pm on Wednesday 17 July and remain in place until approximately 10:00pm that evening.

Smithfield Street will also be closed on both sides between 4.00pm – 10.00pm. For more information, visit www.gympie.qld.gov.au/whats-on.
