Community members can present directly to Eurobodalla Shire Councillors at new dedicated monthly public access sessions from this month.

Adopted as part of the Council’s new code of meeting practice, the sessions provide community members the opportunity to raise any Council-related issues with Councillors, which have not been previously determined by Council.

The sessions will be held one Tuesday a month in the Council Chamber, starting Tuesday 23 July, from 9.15am – 10.15am. The sessions will not be webcast.

To present at a public access session, community members must register and provide a written copy of their presentation by 12pm on the business day prior.

Each speaker will have seven minutes to present, after which Councillors may ask questions. Council will provide a response to the presenter within 10 business days, and the presentation and response will be published on Council’s website.

For more information on the public access sessions here or to register phone Council’s executive service office on 4474 1358.
