Party for National Aboriginal Children's Day

Now in its 29th year, National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day is for all Australians to celebrate the importance of community, culture and family in the life of every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child.

To celebrate this important day, Council’s children’s services team is hosting the party at Kyla Park in Tuross Head on Thursday 4 August between 10am and 12pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the free storytelling, ochre face painting, games, and a delicious lunch.

Local agencies offering services for Aboriginal children will be there with information stalls.
