Eurobodalla Council is reviewing its Recreation and Open Spaces Strategy and is asking the community what they like about local parks, sportsgrounds and open spaces, and how they can be improved.

Council’s Director of Community, Arts and Recreation Kathy Arthur says there’s been some great feedback from the community already and residents can now provide their input until the end of the month.

“So far we’ve had a lot of input from across Eurobodalla, both through an online survey and our drop-in sessions, and we’ve decided to extend the survey period until Saturday 30 July to give residents more time to tell us what they think.

“The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and asks questions like which recreation facilities you use, what types of activities you do there, and what your top three priorities are for recreation areas.

“We want to make sure our future plans for recreation and open spaces are a reflection of the community’s needs and wants,” Ms Arthur said.

Residents can also contact Council’s Amy Kovacs on 02 4474 7380 to arrange a one-on-one meeting for the month of July.
