Road Works in Batemans Bay

Contractors working for Eurobodalla Council are resurfacing the section of Beach Road in Batemans Bay between Joe's Creek and the traffic lights at the intersection with George Bass Drive.

The work will take place overnight from Tuesday 14 June for four nights until Friday 17 June, starting at 7pm each night.

Motorists will still be able to drive through the site, but the area will be under traffic control until 6am when the full road will reopen for the day.

The following week on Thursday and Friday, work will continue during the day on the same stretch of road, with traffic control in place from 8am to 5pm

Road improvement work will also take place overnight on Peninsula Drive, North Batemans Bay starting on Sunday 19 June. Council's contractors will resurface the road between the highway and Lord Place, starting at 7pm for three nights until Tuesday 21 June. The road will be open but under traffic control from 7pm until 6am.

Drivers are asked to take notice of the message boards in place at both sites, and to slow down and take extra care around the work site.

The work is part of Council's programmed road maintenance.
