A wonderful new book called Capital Surfers will be launched by its author Ian Ingram at Narooma Library next Wednesday.
Ian’s photographic memoir recalls the story of a group of young Canberra-based adventurers on their surfing journey along Australia’s east coast in the sixties.
Filled with amazing photos, the book charts their journey south from Narooma, discovering the best beaches, surf breaks, and parties along the way.
Ian is launching the book at Narooma Library next Wednesday 8 June, from 4pm. This is a free event and everyone is welcome to come along and hear from Ian about his book. Photographs from Capital Surfers will be on display at the launch. The following day, Ian is hosting talks about his book and signing copies at Moruya Library from 11am to 12.30pm, and Batemans Bay Library from 3.30pm to 5pm.
