The best images and video made by Eurobodalla’s young people will be shown on the walls of Council’s underground carpark this Friday night when the winners of the Underground digital photo competition are announced.

More than 30 entries have been received for Eurobodalla Council’s first ever digital photo and video competition for young people, and Council’s community development coordinator Zoe Morgan says besties, mums, the environment and pets are just some of the subjects of the quality entries from young people all over Eurobodalla.

“Underground is a platform for young people to share their talent and favourite images with the rest of the community during Youth Week,” Ms Morgan said, adding that she hopes lots of people will take the opportunity to see the exhibition on Friday night and Saturday.

Prizes will be awarded in two age categories – 15 to 24 years and 11 to 14 years – and everyone is welcome to attend the Underground exhibition opening on Friday night from 5.30pm where the winners will be announced by Mayor Lindsay Brown.

Underground continues on Saturday from 10am to 3pm in the Eurobodalla Shire Council Chambers carpark, Vulcan Street, Moruya.
