Aboriginal cultural awareness training

Eurobodalla’s volunteers are invited to a free workshop to help them better understand the Aboriginal community.

Council is hosting the training on Monday 11 April and Dave Widders from Widders Consultancy is presenting the workshop, which aims to help the region’s volunteers build trusting relationships with the local Koori community.

The three-hour session will be held at Moruya Golf Club and starts at 9am.

Dave will answer questions from participants, and says it is only through understanding and awareness of differences that we can learn to get along with each other.

“If we understand each other, it will make the communities we live in happier, united and safe for all Australians. To me it is the little things that can make a difference.”
