Bodalla sportsground carpark works underway

Work starts today on the new car park at Bodalla Sportsground. Eurobodalla Council contractors will be clearing trees and vegetation to prepare the site for a sealed car park and new entrance road.

Council says that when construction is complete in July, people will no longer need to park on surrounding streets or cross the highway to get to the popular sportsground.

The car park will be located on the northern side of the oval with a new entrance road next to the tennis courts.

The first stage of construction will provide up to 74 car spaces and include the new entrance road and preparatory works for future stages. Stage one should be complete by July at a cost $375,000.
